Sky and earth

We all need somebody
to keep us out of trouble
we all need somebody
to keep us out of fights
ain't it right ?

Well a good friend once told me
a heavy snowfall means
nature's way of reclaiming it's own
it covers our creations
our ugly uncouth structures
in soft and milky clouds
linking sky and earth sky and earth

and that's the way you got to me
that's the way a woman ought to be
