Defiant imitations
issued from high barstools
make for hesitation
in the hearts of fools
raiders in the night
frolicking in  fright
of definite decisions
of heartfelt incisions

      clear to the bone
      clean and bright
      love is no loan
      for raiders in the night
      trying to get it right

flagrantly fooling around
with yearnings and feelings
out of the lost and found
the squalid squeeling
of raiders in the night
hiding from the light
yet hoping against all hope
they can still learn to cope
