The universe is infinite

there are a billion worlds

our minds are likewise more than wit

our dreams and schemes unfurl

like the flags of black matter

that could swallow us and shatter

all that we are thinking of

this world that we can’t help but love

 

What if all was random

all left up to our choice

with our conscience for ransom

in the endless white noise

of belief and intuition

where you pick your own road
