Time never stales
as people surely do
singing like sick whales
about what they went through
deep down in the sea
of uncertainty
Time won't wear out
as lovers always do
you know what that's about
or was for me and you
high up in the air
where nothing is shared
One man's truth
is another man's nagging
one man's leisure
is another's time dragging
time dragging
time dragging on
Space simply shrinks
to houses and to rooms
where everyone thinks
about brides and grooms
deep blue is the sea
of inanity
Space crumbles up
like a coin that's tossed
in a beggar's tin cup
to some day be lost
somenthing in the air
that's not really there
1988.
