And read verse by modern poets

She listened quite attentively

To her new boyfriend’s sonnets

She lives and learns, she’s getting by

And struts on tossing her long hair

Performing so appealingly

Everybody is aware

     Of all she’s got

     and all she gives

     if she’s so hot

     that’s how she lives
